Cookie policy

Last updated:

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser to remember information. This page explains which cookies LinkID uses and why.

2. Technical cookies (always active)

These are necessary for the Site to work and do not require your consent:

  • Session cookie (Supabase Auth): keeps you signed in while you use your account. Deleted when you sign out or it expires.
  • Cookie preference cookie: remembers whether you accepted or rejected marketing cookies, so we don't ask again.
  • Card language cookie: if you switch language while viewing a public card, it remembers that choice for next time. It only stores "es" or "en" and identifies no one.

These cookies are exempt from the consent requirement under Spanish law (LSSICE art. 22.2), as they are strictly necessary to provide the service you requested.

3. Cookieless analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to see which pages perform best. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't identify you individually, and only produces aggregated statistics — which is why it doesn't require your consent.

4. Marketing cookies (optional)

We don't currently run any advertising campaigns, so these cookies aren't installed. If we activate ads on Google, Meta, or TikTok in the future, their cookies (e.g. _ga, _fbp, or _ttp) will only load after you explicitly accept them in the banner shown at the bottom of the screen — you can reject them without affecting your use of the Site.

5. Local storage (not a cookie)

Your shopping cart contents are stored in your browser's local storage (localStorage), not a cookie, and never leave your device until you confirm the order.

6. Managing your preferences

If you've accepted or rejected marketing cookies, you can change your mind at any time with the button below. You can also delete or block any cookie from your browser settings, though blocking the session cookie will prevent you from staying signed in to your account.

7. Changes to this policy

If we add or remove any marketing cookie, we'll update this page.
